Sponsors and sponsorships have become the backbone of sports revenue. Every sports team and every individual player has a list of sponsors, and Karen Khachanov is no different.
His Instagram bio lists all the names of companies he has endorsement deals with. The list begins with apparel sponsor Nike, then continues with Wilson, Rolex, VTB Bank and Giorgio Armani. These days, players don’t need to rely on competitions and prize money; the offerings of these sponsors will generate the bulk of their income. In addition, Khachanov is backed by at least four reputable companies: sports and kit company Nike, expensive watch Rolex, tennis racket maker Head and high-end automaker Mercedes.

Like most athletes around the world, Nike has an apparel and footwear partnership with Russian athlete Karen Khachanov. The famous Nike brand is headquartered in Beaverton, Oregon, and designs, develops, manufactures, markets and sells footwear, apparel, equipment and accessories. It is considered the most prominent sports brand in the world ahead of Adidas and Puma.
Racquet contract with Wilson
Wilson currently has a contract with Khachanov for the racquets. The 26-year-old uses a Wilson Wilson H22 which has been given a paint job to make it look like a Wilson Blade 98 v7. Prior to signing with Wilson, Khachanov used racquets from Head. But the deal was done and Wilson showed up to make a deal with him.
Rolex watch
In 2019, Khachanov signed a contract with the Swiss luxury watch Rolex. Khachanov now sports a Rolex, joining a long line of notable athletes who have done so, including Roger Federer. Rolex has entered into a lucrative sponsorship deal with top sportsmen over the past two years.
Giorgio Armani
Giorgio Armani, or simply Armani, is an Italian luxury fashion brand. Khachanov has a sponsorship deal with designer clothing brand Armani. Additionally, he alternates between wearing Nike and Armani clothes.
VTB Bank
VTB Bank is one of the largest Russian banks in terms of assets. The bank provides financial services across the world in the United States, Europe, Asia, CIS, Russia and Africa. Khachanov’s sponsorship deal with the bank means that all his money is safe in the VTB vault.
