Crossovers have always been a great tool for linking fandoms from different fictional universes together to come together and enjoy the spectacle of an unusual encounter. Such a crossover would have made many people happy stranger things and Marvel fans since one of Marvel’s most eccentric characters has been cited to be part of a crossover with the TV show.

Deadpool, Marvel’s sarcastically hilarious superhero, has a possible crossover with the sci-fi drama series stranger thingsaccording to the director of the upcoming third dead Pool movie, Shawn Levy. But it seems Levy’s words mean nothing as the director draws attention to some distressing crossover news.

The Deadpool – Stranger Things Crossover Isn’t Happening

Shawn Adam Levy is a Canadian director who founded the production company 21 Laps Entertainment. For those who don’t know, 21 Laps Entertainment is the production company of Strange things.

Putting two and two together, Shawn Levy will also direct Dead Pool 3. That basically means he has the leverage (he’ll have to do a Marvel-worthy speech though) to include Ryan Reynolds’ character in the Netflix series, or have the characters from the TV series included in maybe a cameo. for the next Deadpool movie.

Here’s what the 54-year-old director had to say about possibly crossover with Variety on the Emmys red carpet-

“Ryan Reynolds and I were trying to figure out how we could do a ‘Deadpool’-‘Stranger Things’ crossover. We haven’t cracked it yet, but it’s on the table.

Sounds like good news, right? Sorry to break it to you guys but it’s not happening. In a new tweet on his account, Levy confirms that the crosstalk was just a “dumb joke” he made during the interview.

We all wanted Levy’s crossover, and it’s really sad that we didn’t get it. But hey, at least we get Dead Pool 3.
