night werewolf director Michael Giacchino says there are no immediate plans for a crossover with Moon Knight.
In the summer of 2021, it was revealed that Marvel was developing some sort of Halloween special for Disney Plus. At the time, the nature of the project was unclear, but most sources suggested it would be based on night werewolf. This was eventually confirmed with composer Michael Giacchino leading the project and featuring Gael Garcia Bernal. Unfortunately, a cross with Moon Knight is not likely to happen any time soon.
Earlier this year, Moon Knight debuted on Disney Plus. When it became clear that Marvel’s Halloween special would focus on the character, some wondered if a crossover was on the table or not. Moon Knight made his first appearance in night werewolf #32, making the crossover all the more appropriate. Unfortunately, plans for such a crossover are not on the table at the moment.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Michael Giacchino confirmed there were no immediate plans for a crossover between night werewolf and Moon Knight. He didn’t rule out a potential crossover in the future:
“Moon Knight first appeared in Werewolf by Night in the comics years ago. That’s what everyone thinks. Yeah, there are no immediate plans for something like that.
