Jim Starlin, the American comic book artist and screenwriter best known for crafting Thanos, Gamora and Drax the Destroyer, recently discussed his experiences working with Marvel Studios and how the company compensates writers and artists. for their work.
According to recent reports, Starlin was happy with his salary, adding, “I’m happy with what I got.” Marvel Studios has been publicly criticized for its mistreatment of VFX artists, even alleging that the company underpays original writers and illustrators. “I think there have been changes since,” Starlin said in response.

What does Starlin have in store for the public?
Along with the three now iconic characters listed above, Starlin also created Eros, Thanos’ brother who fights evil as a Starfox superhero. Eros, played by Harry Styles, made a surprise appearance on the mid-credit scene in The Eternals, alongside Pip, another Starlin character. Although he hasn’t been paid yet, the creator should be reimbursed for future editions featuring Eros. The clearing process, on the other hand, begins long after the film’s release.

Starlin, on further elaboration, said: “I heard that Marvel might want to use other characters that I’ve created.”
Starlin was also responsible for Adam Warlock’s success in the comics. While he didn’t create the character, however, he evolved him a lot by turning him into a Shaolin Priest/Messiah character.
“When they did the casting call for Adam Warlock, it wasn’t just for Adam Warlock. It was Adam Warlock/Magus – I guess. So I’ll be curious to see what happens here.

Starlin talks about the MCU-Thanos deal
Starlin also touched on the possibilities of Thanos returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, given that the character, played by Josh Brolin, has made billions of dollars for Marvel Studios’ parent company Disney. The villain’s reputation among Marvel fans and casual audiences has persisted across multiple areas of comics and television.
Brolin still seems excited to reprise the character in live-action mode, and he can’t wait to return to the MCU. He portrayed Thanos in three films (Avengers: Age of Ultron, Infinity War and Endgame) and also voiced Thanos in the Disney+ animated series What if…?

People are still obsessed with Thanos three years later Avengers: Endgame, both in real life and within the MCU. Hawkeye has a nice scene where someone is writing in the bathroom, “THANOS WAS RIGHT.”
Starlin, in addition to his career in comics, is a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and as such he has been awarded for his appearance in End of Game, which included a line of dialogue as one of the group council participants near the start of the film. He added that he gets a check for work “Every few months” because of his membership in the SAG. He adds, however, “They don’t pay a fortune for a line.”
