Jay Paul was born Roland Molinere III on August 20, 1988 in Grand Bois, Louisiana, USA to RJ and Stacy Molinere. Although he has two sisters, now both nurses, he is the only child in the spotlight. Jay Paul knew from the age of six that he wanted to be a boxer, but those dreams were nearly crushed after a near-fatal accident when he was 10.
