The Mandalorian star Katee Sackhoff teased at D23 Expo how long the star wars the series will last.
A first look at The Mandalorian the third season finally hit the public after the show starred in a D23 presentation last Saturday. The Mandalorian was the first series to come out of Disney Plus and has remained its biggest, with Boba Fett’s Book and Ahoska spin-offs expanding a bloated universe in the star wars galaxy.
How many seasons will there be?
Past rumors have claimed that The Mandalorian would end with season three, but it was revealed that Jon Favreau is developing the fourth season, which could start filming soon. Giancarlo Esposito also previously announced that there will be at least four seasons of the series. Katie Sackhoff recently spoke with Variety at D23, and here’s what she had to say about the show’s future:
Variety: “How many seasons did they tell you [The] Mandalorian will go for?
Sackhoff: “You know, I’ve been told that, but we’ll just have to wait and see if that happens.”Variety: “Oh, tell me. I won’t tell anyone.
Sackhoff: “No one will ever know.”Variety: “Is this the amount you thought it would be?”
Sackhoff: “Yes. Yes. (laughs) “The good thing with Dave [Filoni] and Jon [Favreau] is that they’re constantly expanding that world, and I don’t think Star Wars fans will run out of content anytime soon.
