Ironheart Set Photos Reveal Star Dominique Thorne Filming In Mo-Cap Suit

New photos from the set of the upcoming MCU Disney Plus series Stone heart reveal star Dominique Throne shooting scenes in a motion capture suit.

Costumes like the one worn by Dominique Thorne in the new images are used to replace the actors with CG doubles, suggesting that the scenes shot in these photos will involve Riri Williams in an all-CGI Ironheart costume.

The photos were taken on set for the Disney Plus series in Atlanta, where filming is wrapping up on location.

Dominique Thorne’s Riri Williams Will Make Her MCU Debut This Year Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, before appearing in his own Disney Plus series. Based on the footage that has surfaced so far, it looks like Riri will be following in Iron Man’s footsteps and creating multiple versions of his armor during his MCU appearances.

Pictures of Stone heart was recently screened at Marvel Studios’ presentation at D23 Expo. Anthony Ramos has been confirmed to appear in the series as the villain The Hood, with Community star Jim Rash is also set to reprise his role as Captain America: Civil War.

Ironheart will first appear in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Here is the synopsis:

In Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba), fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers following the death of King T’Challa. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and chart a new course for the kingdom of Wakanda.

Directed by Ryan Coogler from a script he co-wrote with Joe Robert Cole, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever stars Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba, Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Tenoch Huerta, Martin Freeman and Angela Bassett.
