Most thought the Captain America story was over when Chris Evans left the MCU after Marvel released 3 amazing standalone movies starring him. But the hero was given new life thanks to Sam Wilson’s promotion from Falcon to Captain America in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Intending to further explore the character, Marvel announced Captain America: New World Order at San Diego Comic-Con. The film will see the return of Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson as the new Captain America.
What to expect from the New World Order
Recently at Expo D23, Marvel revealed a lot of information about several of their projects, including New world order. While Shira Haas and Danny Ramirez were already set to appear as Sabra and Falcon, fans were surprised by the return of Tim Nelson The leader has been announced.

The director’s perspective on Sam’s journey
Witnessing many ups and downs of MCU lore, Sam Wilson has seen significant character development. The director of New world order, Julius Onah commented on where the character will go in the next film in an interview with Marvel Entertainment. He said:
“He’s the boss. It is he who is responsible for people’s lives. The decisions he makes also have massive fallout and huge implications for the MCU. So now that he’s in this position, he has to start asking himself a whole new set of questions that he hadn’t asked himself before.

In previous films, Steve Roger’s Captain America decisions also caused a massive fallout among the Avengers about his values. We could also see something similar happen with Sam Wilson, as Captain America’s mantle forces the characters to make tough decisions.

The director also spoke with IGN, where he further explained these decisions. He said Sam Wilson will face problems”radically different from what Steve Rogers had to deal with.
Captain America: New World Order is set to release on May 3, 2024.
