Sony has announced release date changes that push back Kraven the hunter and Madame Web.
Sony is committed to creating its own Marvel universe with the Spider-Man characters to which they have the rights. On Friday, the studio revealed new release dates for these Spider-Man spinoff movies and other news.
Kraven the Hunter, with Aaron Taylor-Johnson, was originally dated January 2023, but has now been pushed back to October 6, 2023. Dakota Johnson’s Madame Web will have a longer release next October and will not hit theaters on February 16, 2024. Both films will screen in IMAX. Sony has also dated an untitled Marvel movie to July 12, 2024, which was previously scheduled for June 7, 2024. That date could belong to Venom 3which is in development.
What else has Sony announced?
Sony also revealed that the next Garfield The movie starring Chris Pratt and Samuel L. Jackson will now hit theaters on May 24, 2024 over Memorial Day weekend. A new Karate Kid The film is also hot on the heels of the hit Cobrai Kai and is slated for June 7, 2024.

Dangerously afflicted with a rare blood disease and determined to save others suffering the same fate, Dr. Morbius takes a desperate gamble. What at first appears to be a drastic success, a darkness within him is unleashed and turns this healer into a hunter.
Directed by Daniel Espinosa from a screenplay written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, Morbius stars Jared Leto, Adria Arjona, Matt Smith, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal and Tyrese Gibson. Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach produced the project with Lucas Foster, with Palak Patel overseeing it for Sony.
