What is the story about in The Lorenskog Disappearances?
For those who don’t know, here’s how the story unfolds: Tom Hagen, a Norwegian billionaire, left his home in Lorenskog one morning to go to work at the Futurum business park. During his absence, Anne-Elisabeth Hagen, his wife, was abducted and held for ransom.
Things don’t look good. There are signs of a fight inside the house and a letter left behind says Anne will be hurt or killed if Tom and his family call the police or the media. Not only that, but the kidnappers also want the Monero cryptocurrency worth €9 million to be paid for. Only then can she be brought back safely. They also say, which is chilling, that they have been watching the family for a while and will find out if he calls the police.
Tom calls the police, however, and they launch a covert operation to find out who kidnapped Anne and why. They’re doing their best to keep it out of the news, but it’s only a matter of time before the media gets involved.
And they get involved. The show follows crime reporter Erlend as he ends up investigating this case. He does this along with Jorunn Lakke, an investigator determined to find out what’s going on.

Will there be a second season of The Lorenskog Disappearances?
Lorenskog’s Disappearances has not been picked up for a second season as of this writing. Due to the subject matter of the show, that could easily change if it does well for Netflix.
Before renewing a show, Netflix usually looks at a number of factors, such as how many people watch it first and how many stop. Some shows, like Squid Game, Bridgerton, and Irregulars, get canceled or renewed quickly. Other times, it can take Netflix months to decide what to do with a show.

Yes. If you haven’t seen the show yet, it’s about the disappearance of Anne-Elisabeth Hagen and no one knows what happened to her. When Anne-Elisabeth Hagen disappeared, a note for her husband appeared to be a ransom demand. He asked for $10 million in cryptocurrency. The whole thing was weird, and because Tom Hagen was a businessman, it didn’t go public right away.

They think Tom Hagen had something to do with his wife’s disappearance. In the Netflix show The Lrenskog Disappearance, the story may have ended, but it could come back at some point.
