Amid news from Warner Bros. Discovery and HBO Max canceling the Constantine reboot series that was in development, calls for racism were heard on all platforms as Keanu Reeves is confirmed to return for a sequel to the cult classic Constantine (2005).

Fans speak out against racism as Keanu Reeves project lit up

Fans were already accusing the new CEO of Waner Bros. Discovery of having canceled the bat girl project which had made almost 90 million dollars in filming! Cries of racism were heard as the film featured a non-white American actor, Leslie Grace, as the film’s lead actor.

With the recent news that Constantine 2 is in the works, a reboot of the 2014 American series Constantine was canceled by Warner Bros. Discovery and HBO Max for unknown reasons. Fans felt this was unfair to the series, as the series was rumored to have a black protagonist take on the role of John Constantine instead of a typical white person.

Fans took to Twitter and tried to address the issue of racism allegedly happening behind the scenes at Warner Bros. Discovery.

In addition to cancellation Constantine reboot series, a series called Mrs X was also cancelled, which was supposed to be part of the Justice League Dark project.
