Invincible’s Khary Payton Reveals Work Has Already Started On Season 3

During a recent interview with The Movie Dweeb, Khary Payton confirmed that the cast of Invincible had finished recording season 2 and was now working on season 3.

The actor said release dates for upcoming seasons now depend on when they are able to complete animation work on taped episodes. However, Payton suggested there wouldn’t be as much of a wait between the two seasons as there was between. Invincible Seasons 1 and 2.

Speaking about the upcoming seasons, Khary Payton said:

“We’re done with season 2, we’re going into season 3. But it’s so hard to say right now. “But there was literally a line for really big studios to do this work. So, honestly, I can’t tell you. I’m dying to…I’m so glad they lit the green light [Seasons] 2 and 3 at the same time. This means that when 3 comes out, it will feel like next season, not a lifetime.

“But, yes, it will take time. I wish I could say the opposite. But I’ve done enough animation to know that… to do it right, you draw every panel, you know? »
