The actor slated to play John Constantine in the HBO Max series planned by JJ Abrams has shared his thoughts on the news of a sequel to Keanu Reeves’ film.
John Constantine has received his fair share of projects over the years between Keanu Reeves’ movie and the 2014 series starring Matt Ryan. Before the news from Warner Bros. Discovery bringing back Keanu Reeves and Francis Lawrence for a sequel to the 2005 film, JJ Abrams was developing a Constantine own project.

JJ Abrams’ Constantine and Mrs X shows slated for HBO Max will now be purchased from other streamers, but it’s unclear if they’ll remain in the same condition they are in if picked up. According to a rumor of The Illuminati, Ṣọpẹ Dìrísù was to play John Constantine in the uncertain Abrams series. Following the announcement of Keanu Reeves’ sequel, the actor tweeted the following:
