Artist Dan Hipp has shared the Zack Snyder-inspired artwork he created for the DC director’s appearance in The Teen Titans Go!special 365th episode.
The aptly titled “365!” saw the Teen Titans seek out Zack Snyder to ask him to direct their 365th episode. After asking Snyder to give them “the Snyder cut”, the Justice League The director ends up giving the team his own haircut – but not before he’s seen facing off against Darkseid in a gritty sequence that, in Zack Snyder fashion, turns out to be a dream.
Alongside an animated version of Snyder himself, the episode featured posters and other glimpses of his film work in the The Teen Titans Go! artistic style. Dan Hipp has now revealed a better look at some of these works.

The artwork includes a dramatically shaded take on Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, as well as a look at Jason Momoa’s Aquaman. Also featured are adaptations of Snyder’s work outside of DC, including 300 and army of the dead.

The work demonstrates the playful meta-humor of The Teen Titans Go!, with Zack Snyder’s DC work proudly on display in the world of DC Animated Series. Seeing the team briefly confront Darkseid in Robin’s own “Knightmare” sequence also offered a fun glimpse into what might have been had the Titans entered the Snyderverse.
The Last DC Movie Snyder Directed Was Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Here is the synopsis:
“In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure that Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice is not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns his forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an imminent threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must confront the demons of their own past to transcend what has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be coming too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their terrible intentions.”
Both versions of Justice League and The Teen Titans Go! are available to stream on HBO Max. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the future of the DC Universe, Zack Snyder and Darkseid, and be sure to subscribe to the Heroic Hollywood YouTube channel for more original video content.
