The CBS thriller “NCIS” concludes its nineteenth season with the kidnapping of Vivian Kolchak, who was previously married to Supervisory Special Agent Alden Parker. Vivian is kidnapped, and although she manages to escape, Parker is led to her adversary, who calls himself “the crow”. Alden and Vivian spend the first episode of the twenty-first season searching for the Raven in hopes of ending their spell. Parker forms an alliance with his fellow NCIS agents in order to convince the Raven to come out of hiding so they can apprehend him. Unfortunately, their efforts resulted in a shootout that had terrible repercussions. After the death of Parker’s former FBI partner, Frank Ressler, the FBI begins its investigation into Parker and Vivian’s possible involvement in Ressler’s murder. Parker teams up with Timothy McGee to find out why his adversary is trying to frame him for Ressler’s murder and Vivian’s kidnapping. Parker and McGee feel like the whole situation is being orchestrated by the Raven in order to coerce Maxwell into working for him again. As a result, they facilitate the pirate’s release in hopes of coercing the Raven to come forward on his behalf.
During the process of transferring Maxwell to a safe house, Parker and his fellow NCIS agents are attacked by Raven’s men. During the shootout, one of the men shoots Vivian, who later dies from her injuries. It’s possible that the gunshot wound won’t be fatal to her, despite having to fight for her life. Parker and a few other people take responsibility for ensuring that she receives the proper medical care. Nick Torres calls Parker to inquire about Vivian’s health after taking her to the hospital. When Parker is asked about her condition, he replies that she will “be fine”, indicating that there is nothing to worry about in her current condition. Nick Torres then hangs up the phone. It is possible that in the next episodes of the twenty-first season, we will see Vivian take time off from work in order to recover from the injury she suffered.
