Justin has had many tragic incidents in his life, but the loss of his father troubles him the most. His father, Tim Lower, suffered a car accident on March 26, 2005 and died along with his son and Justin’s brother, Chris.
The family felt a devastating shock when an important family member passed away. Justin was only 15 when the incident happened. He overcame the sadness and trauma of losing his father at a young age and worked hard to become a well-known golf player.
Justin describes the accident as it happened before his eyes. According to him, Tim exceeded speed when the car went off the track, causing it to crash into a power pole near where Chris was sitting. Seat belts did not hold both. Tim died shortly after Chris left the world after the collision.
A few days before the funeral, Justin remembers playing golf because his mother made him leave the house. He engaged in solo play. Later, Justin discovered that Tim had traveled over 80mph in a 55mph zone and had a blood alcohol level of 0.23, more than three times the legal limit.
Two months later, Justin shot 64 to win a one-day tournament in front of family and friends by seven shots. He has completed all the fairways and greens in the regulations.
