Olivia Rattler’s brother, Spencer Rattler, was born on September 28, 2000. The 21-year-old American quarterback graduated from Apex High School, a public high school in the North Phoenix Valley, County of Maricopa, Ariz.
Due to his unusual abilities, the 5-star rookie received 14 offers from NCAA D-1 institutions, including Alabama, Notre Dame and Miami. He made an unofficial visit to Oklahoma on June 19, 2017, and committed to the state a week later.
Spencer officially started playing for Coach Lincoln Riley and the Sooners on December 19, 2018. The quarterback was rated 4 stars by ESPN and 5 stars by 247 Sports and Rivals.com. He was also considered the undisputed best quarterback in the rookie class of 2019.
Each player has their distinct style, distinctive maneuvers, and tricks that set them apart. Rattler also has a special trick for passing the ball behind. Additionally, he caught Twitter’s attention earlier this offseason for performing behind-the-back passes on the practice field. His trick won admirers around the world and helped the Oklahoma Sooners win numerous football championships.
Rattler signed up at Oklahoma on June 12, 2019. He appeared in the college football playoff semifinal against LSU in the second half. He played three games in total in the 2019 season, which allowed him to redshirt his freshman year of college.
Rattler did not play the rest of the season after being benched for Caleb Williams in Oklahoma’s game against Texas in the second quarter. In November 2021, Mike Giovando, Rattler’s personal trainer, declared his intention to leave Oklahoma. Spencer transferred to the University of South Carolina to play for the South Carolina Gamecocks official in December 2021.
