Julius Onah, director of Captain America: New World Orderrecently talked about Danny Ramirez’s Joaquin finally putting on the wings and the interactions between him and former Falcon, Sam Wilson.
In an interview with Screen Rant, Julius Onah talked about working with Danny Ramirez and Anthony Mackie on Captain America: New World Order.
Ramirez’s Joaquin Torres will follow in Sam Wilson’s footsteps, taking on the role of Falcon, which has been Sam’s superhero nickname since he first entered the MCU in 2014. Captain America: The Winter Soldier. He’ll be working alongside Sam, who is now Marvel’s new Captain America.
Talking about getting Danny Ramirez in the fourth Captain America movie, Julius Onah said:
“I’m thrilled, you know, Danny Ramirez, who plays Falcon, he and I go back a bit, and Anthony is someone I’ve been a big, big fan of too. So to work with them, first from director to actor, and then to be able to mold those characters and move the relationship forward is amazing.
“And their relationship is one of my favorites in this movie, it really helps form the emotional core of how Sam has to define himself as Captain America, because he loves this guy. They’re both soldiers , they’re brothers, and their journey, I think, is going to be something that will really resonate with audiences.
