Marvel Episode 6 She-Hulk: Lawyer hinted that a collective sinister that threatened the Hulk and She-Hulk in the comics could be on its way to the MCU.
The sixth episode of Marvel Studios’ latest Disney Plus series has dropped the name of a group of Marvel’s smartest super-villains. While it seems likely She-Hulk is reinventing this sinister group for the MCU, they could cause trouble for both Jennifer Walters and Bruce Banner.
Outside of Jameela Jamil’s Titania – who has proven more of a nuisance to She-Hulk than an outright supervillain – the series has yet to introduce a major villain, but it looks like this particular group could just hide behind the scenes.
She-Hulk: LawyerThe sixth episode of drops a reference to a website called Intelligencia – a name it shares with a collective of the deadliest minds in the Marvel Universe.
In Marvel comic continuity, the Intelligencia are a group of genius supervillains who collaborate in criminal activities for their common benefit. The group has strong ties to Marvel’s Hulks, having created Red Hulk, Red She-Hulk, A-Bomb and Amadeus Cho’s Hulk.
In She-Hulk, Intelligencia appears to be a misogynistic website, with Mallory noting that it is a site “for hater babes”. Nikki and Mallory soon discover that the site is also hosting a secret anti-She-Hulk forum, where they find a user going by the handle “HulkKing” who appears to be behind the Wrecking Crew’s attempt to steal She-Hulk’s blood earlier. in the season. .
While Intelligencia is apparently just a website, rather than a villainous organization, in She-Hulk, it looks like the site might be a platform used by supervillains working against Jennifer Walters. Interestingly, in the comics, MODOK and the Leader were both members of Intelligencia and both are set to make their MCU debut soon. Could any of them play a role in She-Hulk?
