One month before its theatrical release, Dwayne Johnson’s next film black adam now has its long-term BoxOffice Pro box office opening weekend follow-up. The film, which will be the first DC Extended Universe film to hit theaters since last year The Suicide Squad seeks to further expand the franchise and alter the hierarchy of power.
According to BoxOffice Pro, Dwayne Johnson black adam is currently tracking at around $55-70 million for its opening weekend. The report claims that thanks to Johnson’s social media presence, brand awareness for the film is comparable to the movie star’s biggest current opening weekend as a lead star, Fast & Furious Gifts: Hobbs & Shawwhich opened at $60 million, and far ahead Morbius, which opened at $39 million.
