Became one of Warner Bros’ most anticipated films, black adam features WWE Superstar Dwayne Johnson along with Pierce Brosnan and Viola Davis. Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, the film will feature some members of the Justice Society of America.

The movie got a lot of hype due to its casting and rumors. One of the rumors includes Henry Cavill’s potential return as Superman. Since the release of Zack Snyder’s Justice Leaguethe actor was not seen donning the costume.
Promoting Black Adam
Since the unofficial cancellation of the Snyderverse, DC Entertainment has taken a different direction. Thus, the studio needs this film to succeed, as its failure can further damage the DC Extended Universe.
Previously, Dwayne Johnson appeared at one of the test screenings for black adam and asked the audience for their opinion of the film. This event was recorded and broadcast on the internet, which eventually went viral.

The film’s makers also haven’t directly commented on Henry Cavill’s alleged inclusion as Superman. This may also be another tactic by the studio to attract potential Snyderverse fans as they would be interested to see if the rumors are true.
Popcorn in Black Adam bins?
As the studio continues to heavily promote the film, it looks like we’re now getting black adam– themed popcorn bins. Dwayne Johnson confirmed that theaters would be selling popcorn in promotional bins on the film’s opening night, he wrote:

Fans also seem very excited about the promotional bins. Some share custom cars with the movie poster while others asked if the bathtub would be available in their country.
black adam will be released in theaters on October 21, 2022.
