The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Star Rachel Brosnahan has expressed interest in joining the MCU as the Invisible Woman, Sue Storm, in the upcoming The Fantastic Four.
Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four is slated for a late 2024 release date, with director Matt Shakman helming the film, which is written by Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer. The casting process is believed to be still ongoing, no cast members have been announced yet.
Asked about rumors that she might be in the running for the role of Sue Storm, Rachel Brosnahan dismissed the rumors but revealed she would love to play the role.
In an interview with ET, Rahcel Brosnahan was asked about the rumors that she could join the cast of The Fantastic Four as Sue Storm and she revealed that it was a role she would be happy to take on.
Brosnahan said she hasn’t heard anything about becoming Marvel’s Invisible Woman, though that statement probably doesn’t mean much to MCU fans who are used to actors lying in interviews. to avoid revealing spoilers. However, the actress said she would “absolutely” accept the role of Sue Storm if it came to her.
“I didn’t hear anything, unfortunately, but I’m here, it’s our last season. I’m about to be available,” Rachel Brosnahan said when asked about the rumours. When asked if this was a role she would consider accepting, she replied, “Absolutely! That would be great.
Marvel Studios is unlikely to announce the cast of The Fantastic Four anytime soon, but it looks like Rachel Brosnahan would be only too happy to join the project if invited aboard.
