Netflix has revealed the latest cast members for the upcoming live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbenderincluding star trek icon George Takei as Koh.
Netflix has ordered a live action Avatar: The Last Airbender series in 2018 and the project recently entered production. The main cast members were confirmed last August by Netflix, with more casting announcements to follow in the following months.
The streamer has now revealed the rest of the show’s impressive cast, taking to social media to announce stars such as Takei and Community‘s Danny Pudi join the upcoming adaptation.
As part of Netflix’s Tudum fan event, the full cast of the upcoming Avatar: The Last Airbender the live-action adaptation has been revealed.
The cast includes stars such as Prey‘s Amber Midthunder, who will play Princess Yue, Utkarsh Ambudkar as King Bumi and Arden Cho in June. James Sie will bring his role from the animated series, the Cabbage Merchant, to the live-action adaptation.

The full announcement, found on Netflix’s Tudum website, also reveals that Altered carbon star Hiro Kanagawa will appear as Fire Lord Sozin. Newly announced cast members join Gordon Comier as Avatar Aang, Kiawentiio as Katara, Ian Ousley as Sokka, and Dallas Liu as Zuko.
