Wakanda Forever LEGO Set Appears To Unmask The MCU’s New Black Panther

Following the tragic passing of T’Challa actor Chadwick Boseman, Marvel Studios made the decision not to recast his character in the MCU. Instead, the Black Panther The sequel will focus on the other inhabitants of Wakanda, with someone else set to take on the role of Black Panther.

The identity of the new Black Panther has yet to be officially revealed, but a recently announced Marvel LEGO set may have let the cat out of the bag.

A new Black Panther: Wakanda Forever The LEGO set called “Shuri’s Sunbird” includes a Shuri minifigure wearing the Black Panther costume, seemingly confirming that Letitia Wright’s character will be taking over the mantle from Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa.

The set also includes Nakia, although previously revealed wakanda forever the sets included Shuri in the Black Panther costume alongside M’Baku and Okoye. This would seem to rule out any other potential contenders for the role of Black Panther, as they were all featured alongside Shuri in those sets, where only she was seen in the costume.

Shuri would be the natural successor to the Black Panther Mantle after his brother’s death. T’Challa had no children, making her the next heir to the throne of Wakanda.
