The cat is out of the bag: Hugh Jackman is back as Wolverine for Dead Pool 3 and star Ryan Reynolds may have already revealed the plot.
Ryan Reynolds recently broke the shocking news that Hugh Jackman would be reprising his iconic x-men role and bringing Logan to the MCU Dead Pool 3. Fans unsurprisingly have a lot of questions and stars, even more unsurprisingly, haven’t been very forthcoming with answers.
However, while the film’s plot remains shrouded in mystery, an old tweet from Ryan Reynolds may have already revealed what Wade Wilson and Wolverine will be up to in Dead Pool 3.
In a tweet from early 2021, Ryan Reynolds teased the Dead Pool 3 plot that was being considered before Disney’s acquisition of Fox Film Studios and still featured Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine.
While promoting the Bell Let’s Talk mental health campaign, Reynolds said the initial plan to Dead Pool 3 was a story about Wade Wilson and Logan on a road trip together. He said the film would be shown “Rashomon style,” referring to an Akira Kurosawa film in which the events of the story are seen multiple times, from the perspective of different characters.

In case there was any doubt about his seriousness, when another tweet alleged the dead Pool star was “most likely joking”, Ryan Reynolds replied “I’m not”. With Hugh Jackman now officially on board for Dead Pool 3maybe the film on the road is about to come to fruition after all.
