Fofana is a French professional footballer competing for the France national team and Ligue 1 club Monaco as a midfielder.
Before starting his football career on February 21, 2017, Fofana played for several Parisian junior academies. On August 24, 2018, he made his professional debut for Strasbourg in a 2–0 defeat to Lyon in Ligue 1.
In a 1-0 win over Metz on August 30, 2020, Fofana made his Monaco debut and was sent off after 46 minutes.
