A week earlier, fans were skeptical when Marvel announced a new addition to the MCU timeline. The studio added a new movie that was supposed to be released on September 6, 2024. Fans suggested a bunch of movies that could be released on that day. But Ryan Reynolds took over the internet when he made it official that the new addition to the MCU timeline is Dead Pool 3. The actor released two videos announcing the film’s release date and introducing a long-awaited character to the MCU.
Ryan Reynolds posted two videos on his YouTube channel and Twitter announcing the film. Along with these videos, he also confirmed that Hugh Jackman is finally making his return as Wolverine. Although fans had an idea of what Jackman looked like, the level of excitement was still high following the announcement.

Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds talk about Deadpool 3
While in the first video, Ryan Reynolds just asked Hugh Jackman if he would be interested in playing Wolverine again. The second video featured the two actors talking about the film. They started by talking about the film with, “What happens in the final movie is…these two fucking guys…”
Two actors also explain how Wolverine is in Deadpool after the events of 2017 Logan. Clearing up the confusion, Ryan Reynolds says that Logan takes place in the year 2029 and is totally separate. He says, “Logan takes place in 2029, a totally separate thing, without touching that.”
The video goes silent as a piece of background music begins to play, and Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds go out of their way to explain the film. The video ends with the two actors thanking Marvel President Kevin Feige for this team-up.
Although the video was intended to explain the plot of Dead Pool 3, fans were left with only the dramatic music, leaving fans guessing what they might say in the video. However, Marvel fans don’t back up that easily. One of the YouTube channels named Jomboy Media took responsibility for leaking what Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds were saying in the video.

Marvel Fan Lip Reads Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool 3 Video
A YouTube content creator, Jomboy Media, took on the job of delivering everything fans missed because of the music in the video. Using his lip-reading skills, he understood what the two actors were saying in the video. He posted the entire lip-reading video, showing what the two may have said in the video.
The lip-reading video shows Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds explaining how they chase each other throughout the film. Then there is a huge explosion. Following Ryan Reynolds says, “yeah, and I have the swords stalling.”
It’s followed by two of them making a bunch of explosions and action sound effects. Later, Jackman pulls out his imaginary claws and sinks them into Deadpool’s skull. After which, says Ryan Reynolds, “I’m fine and I’m completely laughing about it.”

Hugh Jackman also says he’s alive too. He further says fans really need to see this because “We are at our peak. That’s right, the first.
In closing, Ryan Reynolds says: “and what a way to catch up with you” and continue with, “It will be the best.”
Hugh Jackman also shares his excitement saying: “I’m so excited about this you’re gonna fucking love it.”
Well, there’s no way Marvel is letting its cast unveil the plot of the MCU’s most anticipated movie so easily. It leaves everything they said with an interpretation of some action sequences in the film. No doubt there would be a number of explosions and some fight sequences between the characters.
The video surely proves that Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds would be great on screen. However, the film still has two years to come out.
Dead Pool 3 will be released on September 6, 2024.
