After being announced at the end of 2020 as a series on Disney+ and not having received any major updates so far, the first major announcement could be a bit of a blow for fans because it may not be. not be what they expect.
The announcement of Armor Wars
After being named after one of the most famous comic storylines in the Iron Man comics, fans were a bit intrigued and shocked to learn that we may have to witness the live-action adaptation of the storyline. of Armor Wars without Tony Stark. Since the reveal and announcement of the title logo in 2020, we don’t have any concrete information about this project yet and there were no announcements about it at D23 or Comic Con.
Looking at how it is not present in the phase projects, it could be a project for phase 6 or after, Don Cheadle reassured fans that Armor Wars will move forward, due to its lack of updates, which made some fans think the project might be cancelled.
Very recently, Marvel said they are now converting this series to a movie format because they believe a movie would be the right way to tell this story. The production of the series is expected to start in 2023 and it also looks like there will be no change in the screenwriter. We also learned that Armor Wars will take place right after the incidents of Secret Invasion and that Don Cheadle will also play War Machine in the Secret Invasion series.
This decision could end up being a respite for fans who might have blame for watching too many series instead of movies, let’s wait and see how this decision plays out in the future when Armor Wars releases in phase 6 or after the Wise multiverse.
