The Now you see me The franchise officially has its third installment on the way, and acclaimed American director Ruben Fleischer will take the reins of directing the film. Lionsgate has confirmed the news of the Venom director Now you see me 3 Thursday.
Louis Leterrier directed the very first part of the film, which was released in 2013, and its sequel which premiered three years later in 2016, was directed by Jon M. Chu. Now the third part of the film is in the works with Fleischer in the team.

Fleischer seems thrilled to be part of the franchise, especially because he previously worked with two cast members, Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson in his 2009 film, zombielandas well as its sequel.
“There are three things in this world that I love… Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson and magic“, Fleischer said of his latest project. “Having the chance to work with these two talented actors, along with the rest of the incredible cast of the Now You See Me films, is a dream come true.”

He also talked about his endless admiration for heist dramas and why he is “a lifelong fan of heist movies.”
“I likes to be carried away by the twists and the mystery where nothing is what it seems”, he stated. “And that’s even truer when the thieves are magicians – the opportunities are endless.”
Fleischer further thanked the film’s screenwriter, Eric Warren Singer, for coming up with such a “Fresh and exciting voice in a new film”and for writing such wonderful characters.

Nathan Kahane, president of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, praised Fleischer and why he’s the best choice to direct Now you see me 3.
“Ruben has proven time and time again that he has a special talent for character-driven blockbuster entertainment”he underlined. “It delivers great excitement while ultimately keeping the focus on the characters the audience cares about.”
Kahane then mentioned how the “dream Team” is working on the movie and told fans that “The wait is coming to an end”, hinting at its release in the foreseeable future. It’s possible this means the film could premiere in 2023, but no one can say for sure until an official confirmation has been given.
No other official details about the film have been revealed.
