New images from the set of the upcoming third season of the DC series Superman and Lois offer a first look at Jonathan Kent’s newest actor, Michael Bishop.
Jonathan and his brother Jordan (Alex Garfin) are the two sons of Clark Kent and Lois Lane on the CW series. During the first two seasons of Superman and LoisJonathan Kent was played by Jordan Elsass, but the actor left the show, citing mental health issues as the reason for his step back.
Michael Bishop was recently announced to replace Elsass as Jonathan Kent and new footage offers a first look at Bishop’s filming scenes for the show.
Footage that has emerged online shows Michael Bishop filming scenes with Lois Lane actress Elizabeth Tulloch for Superman and Lois Season 3.
The footage shows a scene involving Bishop’s Jonathan Kent and Tulloch’s Lois Lane having a conversation in a car. Bishop can also be seen arriving on set in some of the footage, providing a better look at his outfit as Jonathan.

Season 3 of Superman and Lois will take over the next Earth and the Bizarro Earth will begin to merge with each other. The official release date for Season 3 has yet to be announced by The CW, but it will arrive in 2023.
