Ed Skrein, who played the villainous Ajax in the first dead Pool the film ponders the possibility of returning to Dead Pool 3.
Earlier this week, news that ignited the internet involved the announcement that the highly anticipated Marvel Studios Dead Pool 3 would not only feature the return of a Ryan Reynolds as Merc with a Mouth, but also the return of Hugh Jackman as Logan/Wolverine for the first time since 2017. While some fans were taken aback by the welcome announcement, it is likely that this will have no effect on how Logan over, given that it was still an otherworldly story. With the return of a beloved character, some are curious whether or not other characters will return, such as Zazie Beetz as Domino, Josh Brolin as Cable, or even Ed Skrein as Ajax.
For those who don’t remember, Ajax was the main antagonist of the original movie, and Wade Wilson ends up shooting him at the end. A return of him Dead Pool 3 seems highly unlikely, but when asked about the possibility of ComicBookMovie.com, Ed Skrein said the following:
“Look, I have all the comics where he comes back with the costume, the flying things, the teeth and the eyes, and everything. I think he ends up getting strangled by Deadpool at the bottom of a river to really die.
When asked what he thought of Dead Pool 3 himself, Ed Skrein had this to say:
“These things are…it was a privilege to be part of number one, man. I would be so happy to leave it as is. It would be the happiest thing to move on and I would be very happy to go back. All is love and all is well. They have a great team between Hugh, Ryan and Shawn. They have an incredible team. I’ll be there the first week with my popcorn and I’ll just be there as a fan.
