Anthony Mackie is hoping for a Marvel Cinematic Universe reunion with Sebastian Stan.
Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson and Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes were last seen in the Disney Plus series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. While the two heroes have formed a bond in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Disney has yet to confirm if we’ll see them together again in the future.
During an interview with Distractify, Anthony Mackie said an on-screen Marvel reunion between him and Sebastian Stan was “inevitable”, joking that his co-star “can never be free”. from him. Check out his full on the subject below.
“Sebastian and I work really well together. We have a lot of fun together. We’re old enough now that we don’t get in trouble. So, you know, I think it’s inevitable that at some point we’ll cross paths again in the universe.
At Disney’s recent D23 Expo, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige announced that Anthony Mackie was reprising his role as Sam Wilson in Captain America: New World Order. Meanwhile, Sebastian Stan is set to reprise the role of Bucky Barnes in the recently announced Thunderbolts movie.
