Rob Liefeld appeared as a guest on the Phase zero podcast in which he revealed his plans for merging Ryan Reynold’s Deadpool and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine into the MCU. Starting the list with potential ideas was a healing factor face-off in which the two characters directly decapitated each other. Here’s what Rob Liefeld had to say about the script:

“Wouldn’t we just watch them cross America? Wouldn’t we just watch them walk through a mall? I mean, they both have a healing factor. I can see a unique healing factor, where both decapitate and regrow limbs, right? Or at the very least Wolverine slices generous chunks of Deadpool.

The image of Deadpool and Wolverine face to face as they bleed and yet heal from wounds is something that dead Pool really would. The creator also had several ideas and was one of the first people to ask Disney to bring back Hugh Jackman as Logan in the MCU.

If we were to consider that the R-rated scene really takes place in the film, the question of winning would arise. Of the two, Wolverine has a higher healing factor. Composed of Adamantium, it would be difficult if not impossible for Wolverine to be decapitated. We also saw Wolverine’s healing factor in the work compared to Wade Wilson’s ugly limb regrowth. Therefore, if the scene were to happen, the Adamantium-clawed mutant would indeed win.

dead Pool 3, recently announced, is set to release on September 6, 2024.
The film will be released in theaters across the world for people to enjoy.
