‘DC fans don’t deserve The Rock, he brought Henry Cavill back’: Internet blasts fans who booed Dwayne Johnson at SDCC 2022 for saying Black Adam can beat Superman

DC black adam is one of the last hopes of Warner Bros. who plans to salvage whatever they can considering how things haven’t worked out for WB. The major movie studio has been involved in providing the film with every marketing tactic at its disposal, and Dwayne Johnson is also doing his part.

However, it seems Johnson’s efforts have been overlooked by some of the fans. The 50-year-old actor was the victim of a barrage of disgusted boos from the audience during a Q&A recently, which only tells us how out of touch some fans are, especially after all the work Johnson did for black adam until its release.

Black Adam Star Dwayne Johnson Booed at Comic Con

Dwayne Johnson is one of Hollywood’s most beloved actors. The actor started out in the 90s playing his own father in That 70s showpossibly getting a role in The return of the mummy and more success with Fast Five, which was his first major box office success.

It would almost seem bizarre to think that one could ever boo the actor who pretty much has a clean slate in terms of celebrity controversy. But it seems like the lot at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con aren’t too fond of Johnson judging by recent events.

The San Andreas The star recently made an appearance during an SDCC Q&A where he was asked whether or not Teth Adam would be able to beat Superman, to which he replied-

“That’s a great question…don’t threaten me with a good time, because I’m going to answer that question.” Well, I’ll say, as you know, because we’re all wrapped up in that mythology, and it’s an age-old question of who would win a fight between Black Adam and Superman. Pound for pound, they’re pretty close. I guess it all probably depends on who is playing Superman; I’ll just say that. I will leave it there.

Here is the response that followed from the audience-

It seems there were plenty of Henry Cavill fanatics in the crowd who didn’t take The Rock’s presumption of another actor playing Clark Kent too well, let alone beating Superman.

Dwayne Johnson Defended by Furious Fans Against SDCC Crowd

Dwayne Johnson certainly doesn’t deserve all the hate he’s had for those ambiguous comments about the uncertainty of who Superman’s newest actor will be. Fans were quick enough to forget that Johnson is one of the few WB actors who worked day and night to make sure their movies were a hit.

The 50-year-old actor visited test screenings to sound out fan comments on the film, and ironically he was also said to have been a mediator for the alleged deal that was struck between Warner Bros and Henry Cavill regarding his role as Superman.

The reaction to the negative comments given by the crowd at the SDCC naturally made the Dwayne Johnson / black adam quite angry camp, and they express their disappointment on Twitter-

A switch wouldn’t be bad-

Are you telling me it’s just this crowd? –

Exactly, he’s just doing his job-

Not a pleasant crowd-

This user makes a fair point-

The public reaction to Johnson’s comments is frankly disrespectful. The DC fan base really needs to get their act together before even asking for a worthwhile DC movie.

black adam will be released in theaters on October 21, 2022.
