Both Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are acclaimed actors and have appeared in and directed several films. Angelina Jolie’s last appearance was in Marvel’s Eternals as Thena and Brad Pitt last appeared in High-speed train like Ladybug. Both have enjoyed great success in their careers and continue to advance in their fields, even though their personal lives seemed like one hurdle after another.
The duo’s divorce happened about three years ago, from 2022 the couple broke up their five-year marriage in 2019. The actress filed for divorce in 2016 and finally, after three years, she s separated from her husband at the time.

What Really Happened Between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt
Citing irreconcilable differences, Angelina Jolie filed for divorce in September 2016. Following an incident aboard the family’s private jet, the FBI and the Los Angeles Department of Child and Family Services acknowledged that they were investigating Brad Pitt for potential child abuse. Anonymously, the star was accused of physically assaulting one of her children. At the time, TMZ said the precise circumstances of what happened were somewhat unclear.
The conclusion has since focused on Pitt’s problem with excessive alcoholism and drug addiction, as well as a parent-child argument taken too far. Since then, neither of them has spoken much about the divorce in particular. However, Jolie commented on how she tries to be there for her children, helping them heal through the process and supporting them against media claims.

The dispute between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt fuels other fires
Since the lawsuit against Brad Pitt, his representatives and those of Angelina Jolie have worked hard to avoid them both and although the allegations against Pitt have been dropped, one of his representatives has said something that may well rekindle the dying flame of disputes.
“She keeps rehashing, revising and reimagining her description of an event that happened 6 years ago adding completely false information every time she fails to get what she wants. Her history is constantly evolving.
The lawsuit concerns a French winery that Jolie and Pitt bought in 2012. The representative accused Jolie of breaking an unspoken agreement that they would not each sell their stake in the business without the other’s approval. The FBI’s investigation of the case was reportedly conducted on several issues and involving several factors, including domestic violence, both verbal and physical. Although not only were those charges later dropped, Jolie was never able to find out why they were dropped in the first place.
