Chucky Season 2 Episode 1 Recap
The aftermath of Andy stealing the truck full of Chucky dolls is shown at the start of the second season premiere episode, “Halloween II”. However, the Tiffany Doll threatens to shoot her. Andy attempts to kill all of the dolls by driving the vehicle off a cliff in the ensuing altercation while distracting Chucky. Jake moves into a new foster home while waiting. Leaving Hackensack, he bids farewell to Devon. The story then jumps forward six months, and Jake is now a resident of Salem, New Jersey. He lives two hours from Hackensack and has a younger foster brother named Gary.
Jake’s foster family forbids him from traveling to see Devon in Hackensack on Halloween night. In the meantime, a gift is delivered to Lexy and Caroline, and the transporter looks like Chucky. A video call of the delivery is received by Devon and Jake. The girls realize that Chucky might be lurking around their house after Devon calls the police. They then demand that the cops watch over them until their mother comes home. Caroline’s pediophobia, or fear of dolls, is revealed when Lexy and Caroline later go to counseling. Caroline receives Belle, a brand new doll, from the therapist.
After the shoot, the girls go home and Caroline is warned by Lexy not to believe any dolls. Jake goes to Hackensack to see Devon as Gary plays tricks with him. When the boys visit Lexy to see how she is doing, they discover that Caroline has taken a liking to Belle. Lexy informs the guys that this is probably just a prank after the show scare. The group gained local notoriety following the events of Hackensack, and now someone is playing pranks on them. Lexy leaves the room and swallows several pills, admitting that she is a drug addict. Gary comes to Lexy’s while waiting. He is holding a Chucky doll, shocking Jake and Devon.
Chucky Season 2 Episode 1 Ending: Where are Jake, Devon and Lexy sent?
When Chuky goes to Lexy’s, Jake and Devon realize they’re in serious trouble. The first scene of the show features Andy and the Chucky dolls climbing out of a precipice. Andy probably believed that by giving himself away, all the Chucky dolls would be destroyed. Chucky’s appearance, however, suggests that Andy’s sacrifice might have been in vain. There are still several replicas of the serial killer doll lying around, ready to terrorize teenagers once again.
Chucky explains that he planned the events of the episode to unite Jake, Devon and Lexy. In the season 1 conclusion, the teenagers thwarted the doll’s plan. They also severely damaged the Cult of Chucky. As a result, Chucky has a particular beef with them. Chucky plans to use a bomb to assassinate the group of people at once. But before he can set off the bomb, he has to wait for Lexy to come out of the toilet. Chucky is not turned away by Jake or Devon before Lexy enters the room.
Despite being stoned, Lexy is able to deflect Chucky when she returns. Young Gary is sidetracked enough for a brief period to spring into action and steal the explosives. Gary hides the bomb in the kitchen. Chucky, however, sets it off, killing the boy. Gary makes the ultimate sacrifice to protect Jake, Devon and Lexy. Young people are in more danger than ever even if they survive the bomb explosion.
In the final seconds of the episode, Jake, Devon, and Lexy find themselves in the middle of yet another gruesome murder. Their killer doll story was dismissed by all, leaving it up to the authorities to decide their future. Following a discussion, the detective in charge of the case and Lexy’s therapist realize that they need additional care. The trio is then sent to a school for troublesome children.
Arriving at school, Jake, Lexy and Devon end the episode. The place is none other than the foster home where Charles Lee Ray was raised. Before Charles Lee Ray displayed his violent tendencies on the premises, the mansion served as a boarding school for orphans. As a result, Jake, Devon, and Lexy will likely feel uncomfortable in their new surroundings.
