Aledmys Diaz said he enjoys hanging out with his wife Dayara Diaz at their new residence in Houston.
After finalizing a move to the Houston Astros from MLB heavyweights, Diaz, along with his wife and children, moved to Houston and started a new chapter in their lives.
Although his wife Dayara initially feared that migrating to a new city would alter their lives and the lives of their children, that thought is long gone and she is the one who appreciates Houston the most.
The Astros shortstop enjoys sightseeing and shopping with his wife in the new town. Both love the ambiance and the environment. He communicates Spanish practically everywhere he goes in Space City, even though he is fluent in English.
“My wife loves the city.” He added, “We feel at home. She can go shopping or go to restaurants, and they treat her very well. The fans have made us feel very welcome.” Diaz said Aledmys did not expect the city to be welcoming. But all their doubts have been dispelled and they want to live there forever.
Dayara Diaz is also a Cuban of origin
It’s no surprise that Aledmys wife, MLB star Dayara Diaz, is also from Cuba. She came into the media spotlight after marrying Aledmys.
Dayara is said to have been born and raised in Cuba. She resided in West Palm Beach, Florida with her family, but after her husband moved to the Astros, the entire family moved to Houston.
His family is still in Cuba. She left her home country with Aledmys just before the wedding, and now they live together and have a son. Also, Dayara wants to keep her personal life quiet. so we don’t know much about her.
Dayara Diaz sticks to herself and is essentially unknown to the public, despite being married to a well-known professional baseball star.
