Gustav Lindstrom, a defenseman, is not related to Nick Lidstrom, a Swedish former ice hockey player. They are both highly regarded Swedish professional ice hockey players. They both occupy the athletic position of defender.
Nick, who won the Norris Trophy seven times, is frequently compared to Gustav. In the future, he hopes to make a name for himself with the Red Wings.
