Patty Jenkins has released an update on DC’s third movie wonder woman franchise a short time ago.
Seeing as it’s been several months since fans heard any concrete information about the film, one would expect them to be more excited than hostile about it. But that certainly doesn’t seem to be the case.
Fans are almost repelled with the latest update from wonder woman 3 that Patty Jenkins shared, and aren’t the least bit thrilled to see what’s to come.

At the Matera Film Festival in Italy, Patty Jenkins updated fans on the script of wonder woman 3claiming that she had finished writing the film’s final scene a short time ago. “I just wrote the final scene for Wonder Woman 3 last week and thought, maybe I’d be interested to see what happens next,” she says.

Jenkins explained how there is a story that “through” the three different movies “in general,” and also tweeted about the pleasure of working with Gal Gadot.
But fans don’t seem thrilled with this update and are instead dreading Jenkins as a screenwriter. This is mainly because the first two films written by Jenkins failed to impress audiences as the character of Wonder Woman became too problematic to be loved. And that’s exactly why people aren’t looking forward to the fact that the latest movie will also be written by her.

In the 2020 movie, Wonder Woman 1984, Wonder Woman was reportedly portrayed as being inherently racist and engaging in sexual assault. According to audiences, the film not only glorified Islamophobia but also portrayed a typical but false narrative of feminism that was superficial as a whole.

Many of these aspects on WW84 left fans very disappointed and some were even enraged.
Knowing that Patty Jenkins was behind the script, fans blamed her for the flawed, formulaic, and downright bad writing. And that’s also why no one is too happy to learn that the director of Freak is writing wonder woman 3also the scenario, especially after its previous failures.
Fans on Twitter expressed their dislike in much the same way they criticized Jenkins without holding back.

Honestly, there are two directors who have no idea what they’re doing when it comes to comic book movies. Those two are Taika Waititi and Patty Jenkins.

While some trolled the screenwriter, others claimed that the third wonder woman movie is going to be as bad as the last one if it’s going to be written by Jenkins. Fans seem to have really given up any semblance of hope.

No details about the film’s release have yet been given by the producers or any of the crew members. However, it might be released in the latter part of 2024, given that production starts in 2023.
