The last picture of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever features Tenoch Huerta as Namor.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever features the first big-screen appearance of Namor, one of Marvel’s oldest comic book characters. Tenoch Huerta, who is best known for his work in Netflix Narcos: Mexico and the 2017 horror movie Tigers are not afraidwas tasked with bringing Namor to life in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which is making some changes to the character for his live-action debut.
While Namor is the ruler of Atlantis in the pages of Marvel comics, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is changing the location of his homeworld. In the MCU, Namor is the ruler of Talocan, a place inspired by Aztec culture.
Total Film’s latest issue gives fans a new look at Tenoch Huerta in full Namor costume, holding a spear. The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever The antagonist was widely featured throughout the film’s marketing campaign, teasing the extent of his role.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever deals with the death of T’Challa by Chadwick Boseman and the conflict between his kingdom and Talocan. According to Marvel’s Kevin Feige, wakanda forever asks “how do you keep moving forward in the face of great loss and tragedy, and in the face of a new threat, when maybe all you want to do is hide from the world, and process your grief, and a new, gigantic threat arrives to be faced?Which, of course, is Namor.
