She-Hulk: LawyerThe ninth episode marks the end of the first season of the Disney+ show. While many felt the finale was a bit too over the top, others couldn’t help but appreciate the entertaining premise that played around various meta-narrative themes and took it to a whole new level. level.

The She-Hulk: Lawyer’s Finale
The final episode followed the aftermath of what happened at the end of episode eight. We see the aftermath of the fiasco caused by the Intelligencia. Plus, for the Hulk to finally return centuries after his adventures in outer space only to introduce his son, Skaar was what sent fans of the franchise into a frenzy the most. Teasing a potential movie centered around the plot points of Planet Hulk or World War Hulk (or a mix of the two) is arguably the best thing that could have happened for longtime Marvel fans who know what’s going on. goes into the comics.

She-Hulk Finale Had A Fast And Furious Style Family Scene
One of Jen’s requests to change her concluding story was to want to see Daredevil again. Luckily for her and Man Without Fear fans, we see Matt Murdock again. This time around, it happens in a softer, comforting, and comparatively PG-13 sequence. Matt decides to stay a week and joins Jen and her (rather disconcerting) family for a barbecue.
While it’s impossible to fully determine which relationship equation is shared between the two attorneys, it’s safe to say that Jen’s family assumed what most fans also did. Then, of course, we saw Bruce walk in and explain where he’s been all this time. And in a big reveal, fans got a glimpse of Skaar, the Hulk’s son.
What an exciting turn of events. Quite a charming way to wrap things up.

That particular scene, however, was quick to remind fans of another hugely popular franchise and that’s Fast and Furious. The action-packed film series, which sees Vin Diesel as the current favorite, has always emphasized strong notions of family values. Dominic Toretto is known for his love of afternoon barbecues. So there’s nothing screaming Fast and Furious more than a family barbecue/cookout scene, affirming the bond shared between them all.
She-Hulk: Lawyer finale seems to have emulated similar family-oriented values. Or rather, much like how the show has a meta-interpretation of mainstream Hollywood tropes, it was also a not-so-subtle gag on what has become rather the archetype of the Vin Diesel-led franchise.
Fans pointed out the similarities
Nothing is going well in the eyes of MCU fans. While most seem to harbor complaints or praise for the season finale, one fan in particular posted the screenshot of Matt and Jen at the family barbecue and pointed out the similarities the scene shared with the Fast and Furious family kitchens. Even Hulk’s intro scene for Skaar seems to draw parallels to the hugely popular action franchise.

Fans are inclined to believe that ending the finale with such a scene seems really intentional. If the ninth episode decided to go full meta and Jen rewrote the entire ending of the series, we can’t pass up the writers of the series to end it with a lighthearted sequence that seems to make a hilarious reference to Fast and Furious.
Therefore, Jennifer Walters lived up to Dom Toretto’s words and made a great play for her family. A family that now has a new addition whose existence teases the future greatness of the superhero franchise.
