She-Hulk Episode 9 Season 9 Finale had some major reveals, a crazy breaking of the meta fourth wall, and overall a well-deserved end to the legal comedy series it was meant to be. The episode naturally picked up where it left off. She-Hulk, now transformed into Jennifer Walters, sat in a prison cell. This was after her outburst at the gala which was infiltrated by the Intelligencia. Jen Walters and her lawyer Mallory Book as well as Pug and Nikki have reached an agreement. According to the agreement, she would be released from prison. But only as long as she wore an ankle monitor and never transformed into She-Hulk again. And that put her on the path to legal justice against the Intelligencia.
Intelligence in She-Hulk

Intelligencia website on She-Hulk Episode 6
The Intelligencia was first introduced as a website for hateful babymen who came together to dump She-Hulk. When Nikki Ramos and Mallory B0ok explored the site further, they discovered a much darker side to the organization. The website was full of death threats that just got more real over time. The organization planned the targeted attack on She-Hulk at the gala with the intention of provoking her. In fact, they even hired Josh to date Jen and steal her blood while she slept. They wanted to portray her as a monster and bring her down. As a result, they successfully completed all of their missions and had more up their sleeves.

Secret Intelligence Meeting in She-Hulk Episode 9 Season 9 Finale
In Episode 9, Nikki and Pug are seen attempting to infiltrate a closed, invite-only, Intelligencia meeting. In order to get the invite, Nikki posts a video of Jen dancing in college on the website. Eventually, she sends Pug to the “bros” gathering and that’s where the revelation happens. Turns out HulkKing, the guy who was the admin of the Intelligencia website and who apparently created the whole thing, is none other than Todd Phelps. The guy who went on a date with She-Hulk and is a Mallory Book client in GLK and H. While at wiki of nerds we saw this coming, it was still a little disappointing. The people who were part of the organization were just useless men who had nothing better to do. However, the Marvel Comics Intelligence are quite the opposite.
How the Intelligencia was a major missed opportunity
Marvel Comics Intelligence
In Marvel comics, The Intelligencia was a group made up of the most intelligent and accomplished villains in the universe. He was created by none other than Captain America: The Villain of the New World Order The chef aka Samuel Sterns himself. The organization also had Doctor Victor Von Doom as a member at one time. The Intelligencia was very successful in their endeavors which included creating the Red Hulk and infiltrating Wakanda to get their hands on their Vibranium reserves. However, in She-Hulk, the Intelligencia has simply become an organization created by a spoiled rich man who is joined by a group of hateful baby men.
This was a major missed opportunity for the MCU. Intelligencia can be a huge undertaking for Marvel and see some of the brightest evil minds working together. Basically a crossover event like Infinity Wars, just for the bad guys.
Can the MCU right the wrong?
Tim Blake Nelson as Dr. Samuel Sterns in The Incredible Hulk
There could still be someone else behind the Intelligencia. The one who works in the shadows at the moment. In fact, it could just be The Leader making the decisions. After all, Todd Phelps really doesn’t seem smart enough to pull off all of this. And if you remember correctly, the episode where Jen met Josh, we got to see the workings inside a lab. Here we saw that HulkKing was also communicating with someone else. This person could very well be the mastermind behind it all. Hopefully the MCU can salvage this and turn it into something worthwhile.
