The opening sequence of She Hulk Finale alludes to What If? Season 2 Episode That Could Feature The Savage ’70s She Hulk

A shot-for-shot parody of the 1978 television series The Incredible Hulk, starring Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno, appeared in the opening sequence of the finale of She Hulk. The Savage She-Hulk is the name of the fictional TV show, which still stars Tatiana Maslany as the show’s main character, but is now dressed in a 70s-style plaid blazer. The show’s aesthetic respects the era with a film-grain-heavy appearance and exaggerated voice-over narration by modern standards.
After a while, the Jennifer Walters we’ve come to know and love realizes the ’70s encore was just a dream all along. The Savage She-Hulk might actually exist somewhere in the Multiverse, according to a few obvious clues.

A Reddit user posted a quick but recognizable musical note during The Savage sequence She-Hulk is actually “the main Watcher theme from What If…?, the Disney Plus animated series that imagines an alternate multiverse version of MCU characters well known.
Marvel Cinematic World (MCU) characters who dream are actually living a variant of themselves in an alternate universe, as revealed in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. This would pave the way for the emergence of the Savage She-Hulk in a What If…? episode of the second season indicating that she does indeed exist in an alternate reality.
This fan speculation certainly gives us hope that we’ll see more of what Jennifer Walters would look like in a 1970s setting, even though it’s still unconfirmed that an episode of “What If?” focused on Savage She-Hulk? will appear in the upcoming season two.
What if…? Season 2 was revealed in December 2019. Nine episodes will make up the launch, which is slated for early 2023 on Disney+ only if not delayed.
