Acting
Colombe is best known for her roles as a child actress. In “The Mighty Ducks” film series, she played Julie “The Cat” Gaffney; her film debut was in 1993 “Rookie of the Year” as Becky Fraker.
In 1994 she was cast in “D2: The Mighty Ducks” as a hockey player, and in 1996 she reprized her role in “D3: The Mighty Ducks”.

Sam Weisman directed the 1994 film, but he did not return as director for the 1996 sequel; instead, Robert Lieberman took over as director of the project. The film follows the Mighty Ducks hockey team after they receive scholarships to a prestigious prep school. The opportunity causes friction as the organization can no longer have their freestyle way of playing, having to play in a disciplined manner according to the school coach, and they have to wear the school uniform. Their new coach is Ted Orion, played by Jeffrey Nordling. Their star player, Charlie (played by actor Joshua Jackson), decided to leave the team, forcing their former coach, Gordon Bombay (played by Emilio Estevez) to join the team and lead them to victory.
While completing her culinary training, Colombe worked as an actress and appeared in films such as “Moonlight Mile”, as Hannah Allen, in “Searching for Haizmann” and “Men in Black II”.
She played video store clerk Hailey in 2002’s “Men in Black II,” directed by Barry Sonnenfeld. The main characters, Jay (Will Smith) and Kay (Tommy Lee Jones) come together in this sequel to fight the common enemy of a seductress. Colombe’s other major role in 2002 was that of Patty in the movie “Moonlight Mile”; the film was directed by Brad Silberling and starred Jake Gyllenhaal as Joe Nast, and follows Joe who decides to change his wedding plans after an unexpected loss, and sets out on a journey to become the man he think everyone wants it to be. He has this idea that he has to be the perfect husband and son-in-law to JoJo (Susan Sarandon) and Ben (Dustin Hoffman). However, the plot thickens when a woman unexpectedly enters his life, and Joe is forced to choose between following his heart and fulfilling his new role.
In 2007, Colombe played Nadia in “Descente”, directed by Neil Marshall, and containing heavy subjects, including trauma. Sarah – played by Shauna Macdonald – sets off on a trip to North Carolina, a year after an incident that caused severe emotional trauma. There, Sarah and her friends decide to explore caves, and the further they venture, the more cave paintings they find. These paintings prove that civilization existed and was different from what we know today. The paintings also show that the girls are not alone underground – there are predators in the caves, who crave human flesh.
“The Living Wake” came in 2007, directed by Sol Tryon, and stars Jesse Eisenberg and Mike O’Connell. The film follows the title character, a self-proclaimed genius named K. Roth Binew, after his doctor informs him that he doesn’t have much time left to live, so he begins to prepare for his impending death. Colombe plays a prostitute in the film.
In 2014, Colombe appeared as Lisa in “Chef,” about Carl Casper (played by Jon Favreau) who quits his job as chef at a prestigious Los Angeles restaurant after the owner – played by Dustin Hoffman – nature’s control pushed him too far.
