Mephisto, the devil, could make his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe sooner rather than later. Marvel is known for its perfect, if not excellent, castings, and so it’s done it once again. There’s a chance the Marvel Cinematic Universe will get a new villain Stone heartand it could be Sacha Baron Cohen.
You heard it right. Regardless, the report, posted by the Geek Vibes Nation Twitter account, hints that Sacha Baron Cohen is playing a “version of Mephisto” in Riri Williams’ upcoming solo series.

Mephisto Rumors in the MCU
Marvel’s famous devil’s rumor mill was in full swing during runs of MCU shows like Wanda Vision and Loki, as speculation about Marvel’s demonic villain swept the internet. Because Mephisto is one of the few Marvel villains terrifying enough to successfully play Thanos’ role as a serious threat to the entire universe.
Fans have scoured these shows and their accompanying materials for potential clues regarding the villain’s alleged existence in the MCU. Although neither of these theories came true, the King of Hell’s panic was evident, albeit in the wrong direction.
Wanda Vision was at the center of the most recent Mephisto rumors. Before Agatha Harkness showed that she was manipulating Wanda’s magic to curse the small town of West View in New Jersey, Mephisto seemed like a potential candidate.
Showrunner Jac Schaeffer remarked that the program never needed a villain to pull the strings from the shadows and that Wanda coming to terms with her grief and suffering over Vision’s death was more than a sufficient adversary.
Also, in the first episode, Loki sparked speculation about Mephisto. Mobius, played by Owen Wilson, was shown standing under a stained glass window depicting a demonic person with red skin and horns.

Despite the popularity of the idea, the showrunners dismissed the devil’s claims and said the stained glass image was merely an allusion to Loki himself, according to director Kate Heron. “It’s honestly just a super weird coincidence,” Heron added. “Like, that’s really a reference to Loki – the horns, he was kicked out of the sky, that’s what it’s referring to.”
The Devil has made various notable appearances in Marvel comics, alongside heroes such as the Avengers, Doctor Strange, Ghost Rider, and Spider-Man.
Sacha Baron Cohen as Mephisto
A few days ago it was reported that Sacha Baron Cohen was rumored to be cast as The Hood in Stone heartwhich in turn will turn into “version of Dormamu”. However, according to new reports from Twitter user Geek Vibes nation, The dictator the actor will play the demon Mephisto in the upcoming Marvel series, Stone heart.

The casting is ironically perfect. While it’s odd that Mephisto’s first appearance in the MCU was in Stone heart. Still, fans hope Borat star, Sacha Baron Cohen is making up the role. The versatile actor is known for many well-known films.
Stone heart is set to debut on Disney+ in late 2023.
