black adam the next version will introduce several new characters. Hawkman, Doctor Fate and Atom Smasher are some of them. Once the film was released for the world to see, the question of what would happen next to the story and the characters involved was raised. Introducing multiple characters allows the DCEU and Warner Bros. Discovery to create new projects for these characters by further expanding their universe.
According to sources, a black adam spin-off is already in the works with the winged superhero Hawkman. Although the initial hint was that Atom Smasher would have its own story, on the face of it, Aldis Hodge’s Hawkman is front and center for that.

Black Adam Sets Up Hawkman’s Story
The film sees each character’s individual story within black adam, including Hawkman, he agrees to regain faith in heroism and humanity as well as the Justice Society of America. Hawkman, played by Aldis Hodge, is known for always fighting alongside his partner, Hawkgirl, who is absent from the film.
“It would be incredible, but his absence is intentional. We have room to grow, so we are allowed to go further and we can explore different avenues, hopefully this is one of the avenues that we approach. But everything has a meaning and a purpose.
The actor said Hawkgirl wasn’t intentionally in the film, which means WBD and DCEU have already planned for the hero to appear and the duo to take to the skies. The hero was originally part of the film’s Justice Society of America, but was later removed for reasons unknown to the public at this time.

The DCEU’s future for Black Adam and his characters
Noah Centineo’s initial hints of an Atom Smasher spin-off should now pick up because as of now, only a Hawkman project appears to be in the works. black adam introduced characters and brought back characters, primarily Henry Cavill’s Superman. He’s set up bigger stories for each of these characters and on the face of it, WBD has a plan for each of them.
The future of these characters remains uncertain however, one thing is for sure, Hawkgirl was not left out by chance, she planned to appear in future projects and would have an arc for herself.
black adam will be available in theaters from October 21, 2022.
