Willie Spence currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia, he was born in West Palm Beach, Florida, USA. Since “Idol” ended, Spence has performed at auto shows, festivals and other events.
He plans to enter a recording studio soon to collaborate with producers on a full album. Spence’s personal history with the song led him to select “Diamonds” for his audition performance.
A few years ago, his career got a boost when a video of him performing at his Douglas high school went viral. With millions of views on YouTube channel “American Idol” alone, Spence has grown in popularity since “Diamonds.”
In 2021, he releases an EP. Six tracks featured on the album, with the names “Forever More”, “Chance On Me”, “Reckless”, “So Gone”, “Notice Me” and “One Minute With God”.
Spence had previously previewed a song called “Pressure”, but it was missing from the album. The song explores Spence’s feelings about performing and what it means to him and his family to be where he is now after his “American Idol” journey.
