Five-time PGA TOUR champion Ben Crane plays golf with his wife Heather and they are often seen playing together.
Calling themselves Zurich HelpPoint Heroes, they have earned special recognition from Zurich, a leading provider of property and liability insurance in North America and around the world.
Ben and Heather received the honor from Zurich CEO Martin Senn at a special ceremony held prior to the championship round of the 2012 Zurich Classic.
Ben and Heather were honored by Zurich for actively choosing to “give back” since Ben joined the PGA TOUR in 2002. Ben traveled to New Orleans shortly after Hurricane Katrina to help rebuild homes with the St. Bernard Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping families return home.
Along with Rickie Fowler, Bubba Watson and Hunter Mahan, Crane is currently one of four golfers who make up the exclusive “Golf Boys” boy band on the PGA Tour. The Golf Boys song “Oh Oh Oh” currently has a highly rated YouTube video.
For every 100,000 views of the video, Farmers Insurance will donate $1,000. The humanitarian efforts of Farmers and Ben Crane will benefit from the donations.
