The upcoming Daredevil Disney Plus series starring Charlie Cox now has a working title.
At the last San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel’s Kevin Feige announced that Daredevil will be getting an 18-episode run on Disney Plus. Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio resume their daredevil roles for the new series, which features the Frank Miller-inspired subtitle “Born Again.”
According to the folks at Cosmic Circus, Daredevil: Born Again is heading into production under the working title “Out the Kitchen”, with filming set to begin early next year. The title refers to Hell’s Kitchen, the New York neighborhood of the series’ main character.
Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk/Kingpin were last seen in the latest episodes of Disney Plus shows She-Hulk and Hawk Eye, respectively. Both characters are set to make an appearance in next year’s Marvel Studios series Echo on Disney Plus ahead of their return to Daredevil: Born Again.
Little is known of Daredevil: Born Again, with plot details being kept under wraps, but the show’s 18-episode first season makes it Marvel’s biggest Disney Plus venture yet. Matt Corman and Chris Ord are writing and producing the series for the streaming service.
Daredevil: Born Again It is said that the return of Matt Murdock’s best friend and business partner, Foggy Nelson, played by Elden Henson. Earlier this year, Deborah Ann Woll also expressed interest in reprising the role of Karen Page for the Disney Plus series. Karen and Foggy were two of the main characters in the original daredevil series on Netflix, working alongside Matt.
