The number of episodes of the next Marvel Studios series Agatha: Chaos Coven has been revealed.
According to a new report from The Illuminardi, Agatha: Chaos Coven has nine episodes, just like Wanda Vision and the latest Disney Plus series She-Hulk: Lawyer. The site also reports that Convent of Chaos creator Jac Schaeffer is directing at least one of those episodes, as is Gandja Monteiro, who previously worked on Showtime’s The Chi and those of Netflix Wednesday.
Agatha: Chaos Coven is a Wanda Vision spin-off series that revolves around Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness. The series is developed by Jac Schaefer, head scribe and executive producer of Wanda Vision and one of the writers behind 2019 Captain Marvel and 2021 Black Widow. Another spin-off series focusing on The Vision is currently in the works at Marvel Studios.
In addition to Kathryn Hahn, Agatha: Chaos Coven includes Joe Locke, Aubrey Plaza, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia and Emma Caulfield. Most Actors Play Marvel Cinematic Universe Newcomers, But Caulfield Picks Her Up Wanda Vision role, playing Westview resident Dottie Jones, aka Sarah Proctor.
Manufacturing on Agatha: Chaos Coven set to debut later this month, with the series rumored to use the working title “My Pretty.” The first episode of the series is scheduled to air in winter 2023 on Disney Plus.
